How to install PS1 games on PS3
- Extract required files in one folder
- Go to psx_classics>PSX2PSP1.4 and drag and drop classic mode shortcut to PSX2PSP exe
- Now choose convert menu and select your PS1 game (Your game should be in ISO or BIN format)
- Choose output PBP folder
- Open notepad and save your Game ID (You’ll need it)
- Now convert your game
- Copy your output (EBOOT.PBP) file from your chosen output folder and paste it into the psx_classics folder
- Now drag and drop your EBOOT.PBP file on make_psone_classic_metadata exe
- You’ll get ISO.BIN.DAT.
- Now hold the shift button and open CMD
- Type command in CMD: make_npdata -e ISO.BIN.DAT ISO.BIN.EDAT 1 1 1 0 16 3 00 UP9000-PUTYOURGAMEID_00-0000000000000001 5 and press enter
- You’ll get ISO.BIN.EDAT file. Copy it and paste it into psx_classicsPS1 Classics PSN Work FolderUSRDIR
- Now copy EBOOT.PBP and paste it into psx_classicsPS1 Classics PSN Work FolderUSRDIRCONTENT folder
- If you want to change your game logo and background image then replace default images from psx_classicsPS1 Classics PSN Work Folder folder (ICON0 and PIC1) – It’s optional
- Now copy PS1 Classic PSN Work Folder and paste it into the TrueAncestor_PKG_Repacker_v2.45game folder
- Rename PS1 Classics PSN Work Folder folder to your game ID
- Run PS3Tools_Menu and choose PARAM SFO Editor
- Open your game PARAM.SFO file and rename title
- Save your PARAM.SFO file and close PARAM SFO Editor
- Now run repakcer
- Press 1 and enter
- Press S to confirm your game title
- Type 1 for start process
- Copy your output PKG file from TrueAncestor_PKG_Repacker_v2.45pkg and paste it on Resigner Masterrifgen-master folder (Make sure you have your act.dat and idps.hex file)
- Now drag and drop your PKG file on PS3Xploit rifgen exe
- Copy your signed file and send it to your USB stick (FAT32 Formatted)
- Plug your USB stick on your PS3 console near of Blu-ray drive
- Enable HAN
- Install PKG file.
- Run your game and enjoy
