I got a Toshiba laptop where the OS had been formatted off the machine. So I also picked up a Toshiba Restore CD so that I'd have everything together and correct, especially in case I ever sell it.
However, this thing was loaded down terribly with bloatware. I mean, there must have been over 10 or 15 icons in the task tray!! Not to mention other stuff not in the task tray.

So, what I want to find out is if there is a free or really cheap way to install Windows Vista without all the Toshiba garbage.
I think I've read online somewhere that you can get a Windows Anytime Upgrade DVD, and use that along with your product ID on your laptop.
