2014$780.00excellentchrisHad one when they came out, and loved it. Unfortunately, I left it on a rocking chair and my two year old rocked it off and onto the floor snapping off the headstock. Had two professional luthiers try to reattach it, but is just so thin it's hard to get right. That's also part of why I liked it. The guitar is easy to play. I found the one I have now just this year, and it was perfect. The owner even loosened the strings every time after playing so it is like new. Both of my Tacoma's never had the Tacomaitis you hear about. Not even a hint of the lacquer lifting on mine. Maybe just lucky. Has the solid koa back, and koa veneered sides, and sounds great. If you can't afford a Taylor or Martin, and can find a decent Tacoma you'll be happy.
2003$1400excellentWilliam EsbornThis instrument is in mint condition since it was received as a replacement for a 1990s model whose Koa sides had cracked. But the time is was replaced I was playing another instrument and rarely played at all the JK50C. It is serial number G 008 014 0 Thus according to Tacoma's serial codes was made on January 8th of 2003 the 14th guitar of the day and the 0 indicates it has never been serviced. The hard case has wear since it was part of the original purchase but the instrument has none as the replacement.
